Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs (G):   The main character, Flint is an inventor who develops a machine to impress his father and save the town.  Everything seems to be going his way until the machine goes haywire.  Review: This movie is based on a childrens book with the same title.  It is greatly expounded on a doesn't really resemble the book at all.  I found the movie to be lacking in decent character development, the humor to be silly, and the premise of the movie to be shallow.  My 3 and 5 year old wouldn't watch it and my 8 year old was confused and disappointed.   However, the dad in the movie was mildly entertaining.  *****
